BNC Blade
Plug and Play
Simply plug into UCF SMA connector using an SMA-to-BNC antenna cable (e.g. UC322) and it's ready to go.
Streamlined Design
The blade antenna's aerodynamic design minimizes drag, which increases maximum airspeed and fuel efficiency.
Easy Mounting
Gasket, hex nut, and lock washer are provided. Simply provide the half-inch hole and it is ready to mount.
Tradeoff: Airspeed vs. Weight
The tradeoff for the blade antenna's increased aerodynamic performance is increased weight and increased size (not-to-mention increased cost). In general, smaller, battery-powered UAV will want to go with a monopole or "whip" antenna (e.g. UC331 or UC333); larger, faster, gas-powered UAV may want to go with a blade antenna.
The UC332 is a non-certified transponder antenna for experimental aircraft, specifically targeting larger, faster unmanned aircraft (UAS).
